Monday April 10
Nate wanted to go downtown to look at souvenirs. We have always walked from Sea Point to the downtown area, but today the boys convinced their dad that we should drive. Trying to park a big white kombi bus is not an easy task. After circling many blocks many times, we ended up parking not far from our apartment and walking!
In the end no one bought anything, but markets are always interesting.
We went back, had lunch and drove Nancy out to the airport. She was loaded down with not only her own things, but stuff we had purchased in Swaziland. Every bag was full.
Later in the afternoon, Jack and I went for a walk while the boys stayed back at the apartment. The day was too cool for swimming.
Our last night in Cape Town. Chris and Michele had asked why we would go and spend 3 days in Johannesburg instead of staying in Cape Town and I wonder why myself. Cape Town is a beautiful city and we have enjoyed the 19 days we had in it.
