A day for running early to beat the heat. The owner of the campground said running 9 miles on the gravel road toward the highway would be safe. He did not recommend running the other way. Jack parked on the road as Luke and I ran 1.5 mile laps to and from the highway.
After that it was a day for laundry, relaxing, homework and enjoying this remote campsite.
Jack and Nate working on math poolside.
Laundry day.
We made good use of the pool table and the boys learned the card game of rummy. Luke would like to forget this game!
In the evening we could not resist going for another drive in Hluhluwe park. We were not to be disappointed.
This troop of baboons were delightful! They provided much entertainment especially when one found an aluminum can and it became the coveted toy. We must have seen 50 baboons.
When we got back to the camp Nancy and I cooked supper and we dined poolside.
